I wasn't too fussed when the current Roadster had them as standard, but they are very useful when working on stuff in the footwell

Same Jon, they were already fitted to my 4/4.

You mean you don't have footwell lighting, Dave?? somestick

No, Alan. Not sure they were available in 2005 on my Roadster. When we ordered our GDI in 2016, I had to remove a few things from my wish list, because the price was going loopy loo. I don't remember if footwell lights made the semi final cut. I had to delete yellow stitching, carpet edging and embroidered head restraints. I also deleted the build book, but put it back on at the last minute. I didn't think it was fair to be living at the factory taking pics and not ordering the official build book!

I only had this footwell light on one of 5 Morgan. It was the 2010 Roadster Sport. I couldn't custom order anything on that car anyway except for a colour and the colour of the interior.

My 4/4 has a flexible map light, which is almost as good.

.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

I had the same problem with the heater control on my 2013 4/4. I suspect it was due to the dealer not refitting the dashboard properly after installing the power steering. I had a very chilly trip back from my niece's wedding with the top down!
Getting the hard wire fitted can be tricky (and dropping bits is a buggeration!)

NB. WD40 s a Water Displacement treatment not a lubricant: it will dry to a varnish very quickly. Use a good oil to ease parts smile

I used the WD40 High Performance Silicone spray which is also a Lubricant, then i applied grease when it worked free.
