Has anyone replaced an engine bushing yet? I have one that needs it and I'm not sure what tool(s) to use to get the old one out.

A little more explanation would be welcome to understand exactly.

Use 2 sockets, one either side and a bolt through the drive holes to pull the socket through. Just make sure that the socket fits through the hole that the bush is in.

I assume you mean the engine mount bushes? You need to support the engine and take the engine mounts off the car. If one bush has gone then the others won't be far behind, it's best to replace all four.

If the socket method above doesn't work, cut through the rubber and take the centre out then carefully hacksaw through the outer metal case of the bush and use a punch to knock it out. Press the new bush in, mine went in quite easily using a large vice and sockets.

Think maybe one socket the same size as the bush but the other slightly larger to allow the bush to slide into it. If they are both the same size as the bush there will be no movement!
Personally, I would thread the new bush onto an even longer bolt, pass the rest of the bolt through the old bush, then through a piece of tubing or socket slightly larger in diameter, add a big washer and nut. As it is tightened it would pull the new bush in whilst at the same time pressing the old one out.
