Isn't it just a matter of removing filler and drain plugs in that order, ideally after a good run to warm oil. On my axle the filler plug required a hex key and drain plug required a socket for hex head. Obviously have a tray underneath to catch oil with minimum 2 litres capacity.

I leave mine to drain fully maybe even overnight, then replace drain plug and refill with recommended oil through filler plug until it just starts to gently dribble out of plug hole, then replace. Access from above after removing tool tray can help.

For reference the BTR axle on my Roadster took 1.6 litres.

Recommend one of these for re-filling gearbox and diff.

Just one last question. In the manual it says to use 80/140 oil but they only one I can get is 75/140 , will this be ok to use?

I use this....

https://www.morrislubricants.co.uk/products/auto/gear-transmission-oils/lodexol-xfs-80w-140.html

It has LSD friction modifier already added, although sometimes a bit more is needed if you can hear the chatter.

Ditto my diff on the S1 & the 3.7 were / are fine. Allon White also filled the S1 diff with this oil
