Hi,

I have his week acquired a 2011 4/4. I’m really pleased but it won’t be with me long as shortly I’ll be surprising my father with the car as a retirement present.

He has always dreamed of a Morgan and through begging, borrowing and stealing (ok, perhaps not stealing) I’ve been able to buy him one,

But despite us both being into cars from young ages, we know very little about owing a Morgan, nor have any knowledge mechanically.

Could someone point me in the direction of a Morgan specialist in the West Midlands area? We’re Kidderminster based, and there are a few things I want to get looked at and get some advice on.

The areas underneath the corners of the front windscreen need attention and the drivers seat has been heightened by adding wood planks under the runners which needs reversing.

I also want to add the front spoiler/splitter and move the number plate onto the wing - again, if anyone has a recommended supplier or garage that undertakes the work I’d be most grateful.

I’m presenting him with the car on Saturday, can’t wait to see his face 😊

Thanks if advance of any support or guidance.

Not sure how much or little he's doing these days, but try Mike Duncan, Worcester Rd, Hartlebury, Kidderminster DY11 7XH Phone: 01299 250025

I bought a stick on plate from eBay and made a right pigs ear sticking it on. It looked like a blind cobblers thumb.

Went to my local car wrapping place, who made the plate and fitted it for me for £10

Your Dad is one lucky man!
I had to buy my own 4/4 Sport (2009) upon retirement.
I have always used Wolf Performance near Cambridge for all my many upgrades and maintenance on my Morgan.
Cain Poulton is well known in Morgan circles and you will often see him get a (positive) mention on here.
I have nothing but good things to say about him and he is about the same distance from me as he is from you (albeit in the opposite direction).
PS.
Having tried both, IMO the front numberplate looks better in its factory position than stuck to the wing, especially with one of Wolf's valances to enhance the look (sprayed body colour, in my case black).

Another strong recommendation for Mark Middleton (Middleton Motor Services), he has looked after our 4/4 for several years and certainly knows his way round them.
His contact details are 07880 722638 or 01684 594738.
Good luck on Saturday!

Wow!

You are a son any father would like to have!

I can´t recommend a workshop because I life in Germany but you get a splitter /spoiler from "Wolf Performance".
Have a look at the various versions here:

Mark Middleton for me too.
Judging from a short article in the Morgan Three Wheeler Club Magazine (Feb 2023) Mike Duncan is having a major clear out, he would appear to be retiring.
