Hi,
Hope I'm in the right place. Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm a new first time owner, always wanted one but life just got in the way!
Well, I've finally done it! bought myself a 2010 Plus 4. I'm an ex Defender owner and have always looked after them myself but now retired I just found it all too heavy and one evening I was watching a car orientated program on the Television and the chap when asked about Land Rover classics just said " well' they're just hard aren't they! Everything you do on them is just hard!" And the light went on! BING! Now was my chance to get a car that I had always wanted, that I could still work on and with, and reduce the effort required! Fortunately I probably had the best Defender on a 2010 plate, owned from new and with just 28,000mls on the clock in the country! So I took the plunge and in went the advert. Yes I probably sold it too cheap as the phone never stopped ringing, I've taken the advert down and it's still ringing but fortunately it went to a good home, someone like me who cares! so, I'm reasonably happy.
But, it gave me the funds to get a MOG and I have just done exactly that, it's being delivered to me at the start of March.
When I'm sorted I'll share exactly what it is, added equipment etc.
I have motor trade experience and generally maintained and fixed my own cars but no doubt will have a few questions to ask those of you who have been there and done that before!
