My Roadster is only taken out for brief runs every two or three weeks in winter. In the last week, it has started regularly to cut out for a couple of seconds before regaining power and running smoothly again. Fuel pump on the way out? Blocked injector?

Or fuel pump relay? Easy swap to check.

The fuel pump relay also powers the ECU on S1 Roadsters which I found out the hard way.
On my 3.7l Roadster the fuel pump relay was an issue. Dirt cheap to replace.

If you have 3.7l car try pressing down the relays. If they move that could be the cause, in Belle's case they seems to vibrate loose so they are taped down.
The AC relay can be used as a spare.

Have the same problem with a '94 Plus 8, 3.9.
My problem is not the fuel pump, as it is brand new.
Can you tell me where to find this relay.
Is it a standard 30Amp (or so) 4 or 5 blade automotive relay?

TIA
Tom

Thank you all. It is off to B+C shortly to have some body work done, thanks to a Spanish lorry driver, so we may as well ask them to check the relay while it is there.
