Welcome José. I waited several years for a q/r wheel from Simmonds for my car but despite promises gave up and bought a MotoLita. I later found they had been discontinued and that was a few years ago.
Note that MotoLita offer an offset wheel to allow easier access if thats what you require.

I don´t know where you are living or what model you are driving but if you live in the EU perhaps the MorganPark steering wheel (offset with thicker rims) is an option for you?
I am happy withe the comfort of this steering wheel on my 4/4.

Welcome. I had the offset mota lita for years it gives easier access to the short door trads . But maybe you have a 3 wheeler?

Has anyone had thoughts on an offset hub, or would this defeat the object by increasing the distance of the steering wheel from the dashboard ?

Hello, we don`t only offer special steering wheels which are more flat on the downside, we offer offset rings for Moto Lita steering wheels as well at Morgan Park. We do fit those offset rings very often and customers are very satisfied with them. Sorry, but I`m not able to display a picture over here.... Thanks to all that replied. I'm still not getting anywhere with my search for a quick release steering wheel.
I will be going to The FOS at Goodwood in July. If anyone has suggestions on who to look for. let me know.
