This thread got me thinking about LEDs again. I like the look of Marmot's lights and I found these online for a very good price. Not sure about the quality, but for the price they're certainly worth a try...

Funnily enough I found exactly the same ones after a search. It would be good to know if they are the same as last year when I was looking the quality seemed a complete lottery from one make to the next. I really want something with decent permanent driving lights just for safety during the day.

Being LEDs, I wouldn't expect much heat other than that radiated from the engine.

LED headlamps generate a LOT of heat most having a heat sink in the back to help dissipate the heat

And they are heavy, besides being heavy the heat must be dissipated by those big cooling fins on the backside of them.

Yes the LED headlamps are much heavier than the very light originals. But because they're made of proper steel to dissipate that heat. Because they're hot, despite being LED. It's correct saying they are really hot. And mine, being a Eu4 car, are permanently ON.

About the rubber, I won't have issues, as it's a very good quality rubber rated for working temperatures over 150ºC (better than a regular EPDM rubber composite).

Hello everyone!

ABOUT THE 3D PRINTED TRAYS

After some months waiting for Pedro to create his own web page, he finally did it! Still to be "polished" in some aspects, but here we go!

Please see https://www.pedrofreitas.ch/en/ and / or contact Pedro Freitas at freitaspedro@me.com

I'm glad I helped my friend to promote his trays and all you to be able to get one! And he has some other brilliant ideas for accessories! Coming soon!

My best regards to everyone!
