There seem to be quite a few really nice low mileage cars for sale at the moment at fair prices if there is such a thing, I wonder if the brake and radiator debacle has been a deal breaker for some. I love the plus six maybe one day, there are a few of them for sale also at attractive prices compared to new what's going on boys......

Supply and demand. That simple in my view. Peter Morgan always maintained supply below demand. No cars available at dealers then. So no competition to sell, so no drop in price. Presently dealers forced to hold stock so competitive selling (i.e.price reduction).
Just my simplistic opinion.

And also the high price reduces demand from that which the trads could achieve, so if production stays at Trad levels or increases, something has to give.

I think over time, the pre 2023 CXs will be the ones that hold their money the best.
If I had wanted traction control and air bags I would have bought a 911. My Lexus has all the modern aids and is uber comfy, so I wanted something completely different from the P6.

Morgan have done themselves no favours over the handling of the teething problems of the CX range, but a few years down he line I am sure these memories will be less of an issue and the desire for a fast, raw sports car will remain. What else can you buy other than a Caterham that can scratch that itch?

I would still buy my Plus Six today, but I am not at all tempted by the 2023 model. The dashboard is hideous, no option to change the steering wheel to something more appropriate and traction control was the main thing I DIDN'T want.
Assuming there are other people who think like me out there, I see a good future for the pre 2023 cars on the pre-owned market. Not sure about the much more expensive 2023 cars though

Anyone know when Morgan upgraded the seats and are the early models that uncomfortable.

May I suggest that you try before you buy? The seating position and poor seat comfort were two of the reasons I decided not to buy a CX when the first came out.

I have sat in a couple one of the early launch edition models and one about a year later but I was so impressed with the car and having a series 1 Aero with no seat adjustment I thought the seats were pretty good actually, might have been caught up in the moment though...

The Comfort seat option was fitted by Morgan before I purchased my car and is a huge improvement on the seats in the demonstrator. My seats have the same squab as the Comfort Plus option that is currently available, but do not have the inflatable bolsters. Nonetheless, they are extremely comfortable and long journeys are no problem at all.
I find the P6 to be a very comfortable car overall and well laid out. I would have preferred the paddle shifters to rotate with the steering wheel but nothing is perfect.

Thank's for the info Barry but from what I read I don't think I would be using the shifters but agree about rotating with the wheel...
