Coincidentally mine is a 70's four seater too, I am in to year four now. I intended to re-upholster the seats my self, I even bought a secondhand industrial sewing machine and some leather but life is getting shorter and I need to hurry the project up hence the purchase.r.

Got a full front and back re-trim of mine (with heated front seats) for £740 which I thought was very good value.

Pigiron .... been hillclimbing a single-seater open wheeler in the Scottish and British Hillclimb Championships for the last 15 years .... sadly a big accident has left my car un-repairable so a change of direction is underway ... our Hillclimbs are short, narrow and hectic .... we'd love to have some longer 'closed road' hills as you have in mainland Europe but, although the Goverment has enacted the legislation to allow this, other factors on this crowded island have meant that hasn't happened yet for unlimited racing.

I've heen to the last two FIA Hillclimb Masters (Gubbio and Braga) supporting some racing pals who were competing and loved everything about both events ... in the UK the big unlimited single seaters are king ... whereas the different nature of the tracks in Europe favour the big Sports-Racers ... was pleased to see our guys and gals putting in decent times on strange and very different tracks ... I hope to visit a few more European venues before too long.

What do you drive?
K
