Forgive me asking this but I couldn't find an answer in after a search.
2005 Roadster, just carrying out a service and want to replace the lower grease nipples, they are set at 45 deg which I want to keep, but on removal I can't work out what thread they are, they are parallel and measure 6.36mm diameter on thread, i.e. 1/4" so I'm guessing BSF, is this correct?

That's certainly a ¼" thread but could be UNF with thread pitch slightly finer at 28 tpi compared to 26 tpi for BSF.
Note they are usually taper threads and beware of length of threaded part lest it touches kingpin! Note also the top grease nipples have a larger thread of ⅛" BSPT
A trip to local motor factors with old one as pattern may be best.

Cheers, unfortunately my "English" thread gauges have long since been lost, I guess the reason why the lower ones have washers is to ensure they don't touch the king pin.
The actual nipple is taper thread into the 45 deg adapter but that is definitely parallel into the bottom of the king pin assembly.

The washer may be to give a better access angle to the nipple.
