Many thanks for interesting pics. A good mix of 4's and 6's, LHD and RHD.

Great photographs; thanks for posting. This reminds me that I must plan a visit to see the CX production. I’ve been to the factory on a few occasions, over the years, but all were pre-CX. Maybe a couple of nights away, either at the Abbey, or at the (wonderful) Feathers at Ledbury. Bud 4/4 - Stanley

Very interesting photos. Well worth visiting again.
It’s been 5 years since I visited the whole factory, I saw my Super 3 being built on a few occasions over 2 weeks last year. The evolution in how the 4 wheeler cars are built is impressive, whilst maintaining significant traditional craftsmanship. It’s well worth visiting again in my opinion.

On this picture we see the famous swirlpot. On the plus six it is under the wing , on the plus four Behind the radiator.

I love the changes that have happened at MMC, albeit with some rose tinted memories. My first ever visit (about 20 years ago), from memory went like this. Turn up at the factory, Find someone to ask (Parts Department) “Can I have a look around”? Handed an A4 sheet of paper, as a factory plan. (No official guides in those days). “Just follow the red line on the floor and if you want a cup of tea, pop into the canteen”
