When I bought the car it came with 5 spare minilite wheels shod with 195/60 with hardly any use. I like the look of the car on the original steel wheels and shiny hub caps fitted with the standard 165/80 and haven’t yet fitted the minilites

Yesterday I just placed them against the car and took the dodgy photo shared below with the standard photo as a comparison.

I think if I do use the minilites I will have the change the colour

I’ve seen images of dark Morgans with dark minilites but not with a brighter/lighter car

Grateful for any images folk might have or even opinions

To my eye, the Minilights give it a Track / Race feel

The steels with hubcaps a more Touring look

Please not the Minilites, sell them. The original steel wheels and shiny hub caps are the way to go IMHO.

Another plus for the Minilites thumbs They look fine to me as is. I think their style is lost to a degree when black.

In my opinion, the minilites gives car a sporty younger look. The steels with shiny hub caps would be the more mature choice. My grandad would have picked hub caps, with his flat checked cap, tartan scarf and matching flask, along with driving gloves and a light right foot. I would pick minilites, , puffa jacket, beanie hat, buff, and wrap around black Raybands, with a heavy right foot.

It‘s your car. Your choice and must match your taste.

rofl so I’m somewhere between you and your grandad. I have a beanie hat but have some thin leather gloves which give great grip on the wooden wheel. And I definitely have a heavy right foot 🦶

I do love the look with the steels but think I will fit the minilites for a few months and see if the car makes me smile when I see it
