Another option, the Alfa Romeo Gtv convertible - such as Ewan found a while back Presumably you mean the Spider, I've had 2 a 2ltr twinspark and the 3.0 ltr V6 a very quick car but with wicked torque steer.

Can't believe this hasn't got a mention yet (unless I. missed it). I would plump for a GD (Gardener Douglas) Cobra replica with a tuned NA V8. My next door neighbour has a superb example with a small block motor that he built and tuned himself. 500 bhp with a manual transmission and an exhaust note to die for from the side pipes. The whole thing weighs about as much as my P6 and is extremely rapid and torquey. Not the most spacious sports car, but neither are most Morgans. It is a crowd-pleaser wherever it goes. Circa £50K for a top example.

Another call for gdcars.com. I built their other offering https://www.gdcars.com/gd-t70-spyder. The sexiest car shape ever. As well as huge performance from an LS3 it was a realistic tourer with sidepods for luggage.

I am a bit long in the tooth for building another kit car and would probably be dead before it was completed. But I have to say that T70 is absolutely gorgeous and a turn-key car would definitely float my boat. I built a 7 back in the day and it took me years to build and I never really got it the way I wanted it. I found my lack of knowledge and no spare time made it an extremely difficult (and surprisingly costly) hobby project. Hats off to JMcL for building a T70, I know what it took to do that.

There are two nice used T70s on the GD website now. Go for it. Or Andy will build a new one to your spec.

The GD website looks good. The cars look really well designed and finished. I've always wanted a Cobra...............!

Only one thing better than a V8 and that's one of these.. very easy on the eye and my word the sound track is bloomin heavenly, I'd get it down our Devon lanes somehow. Like the Alpine 110 every angle is good to my eyes and a V10 has great appeal for me. 2 seater and topless Howard - note ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/03/06/V10.jpeg) Dont know why but they never sold that well. The V8 wasnt the best engine but the V10 is direct from Lambo. In the end, they both are a poor substitute for a Ferrari . No class.
