Morning All, what the most popular option for buying a new blank service book (for when the old one is full of stamps)?
Does anywhere sell a genuine Morgan one?
Or just go with a cheap eBay generic one?

I had the same problem when I bought my car (service book already full). I made some replica pages, using the same font and with the numbering continuing from where the original one ended, and I printed them off double-sided to match. I carefuly removed the cover, trimmed the new pages to the exact size, and glued it all back together. That gives me ten years' worth of additional service pages. Thanks ! I figured that if those chaps in The Great Escape could forge passports and create maps with little more than cigarette papers and bits of string, then it couldn't be too difficult to extend the Service Book  It did require competency in MS Word and a cautious approach, as it could be a destructive process.

I added 10 pages of Lordofthewings docs. Very carefully glued them into original service book. IMHO one would be hard pushed to notice that they were not originally there.

Gomog has a few versions of handbooks in there. When I had my 1993 4/4 I scanned the handbook. I sent a copy to Lorne to add to the list on Gomog. If there is one on there you can download and edit to make one to imitate an original.
You can add “patina” to give an aged look. Tea is a good one to yellow the paper. Use glossy paper, add oily fingerprints etc!

My MOG has never had a Service book. I was just given two big folders. After 20 years together, it now has four big folders.
