T70 is absolutely gorgeous and a turn-key car would definitely float my boat.
There are two nice used T70s on the GD website now. Go for it. Or Andy will build a new one to your spec. Look very attractive but £80k for a grp kit car? Not much more for a McLaren second hand.

Only one thing better than a V8 and that's one of these.. very easy on the eye and my word the sound track is bloomin heavenly, I'd get it down our Devon lanes somehow. Like the Alpine 110 every angle is good to my eyes and a V10 has great appeal for me. 2 seater and topless Howard - note ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/03/06/V10.jpeg) Dont know why but they never sold that well. The V8 wasnt the best engine but the V10 is direct from Lambo. In the end, they both are a poor substitute for a Ferrari . No class. Your last statement is precisely why I wouldn't want to ever own a Fezza

Those who aspire to the raw performance and rarity of a T70 have little interest in McLaren modernity. Age old question of numbers v value. Don't take my word for it, listen and watch Steve Sutcliffe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JU86OBAbbo

Yep, wouldn't touch a Ferrarri or McLaren (even if I could afford one). They're classy in the same way a Diamond encrusted Gold Rolex is classy There's a good Youtube clip out there were someone has taken Guy Martin out in his McLaren and is trying to impress him with it. Guy, alway the gentleman, is very polite, but his face gives it away...... Like the T70 - friend of my Mrs has a GD Cobra and it's a very well engineered but of kit.

Yes, the bling things don't interest me whatsoever - that T70 is an animal I could love.one of those easily.

I've always found McLaren people/dealers/owners to be fine folk. The cars are astonishing: I'm not sure how practical they are on the public roads of this small island.
Ferraris come with an image; it's likely the polar opposite of a Morgan, and equally likely to stir opposite emotions.
On the other hand, I once had a Cars & Coffee breakfast with a table of Audi R8 owners... the suff of nighmares!

Will +1 - No issues with the people and the cars are mega Will. Like a rapier compared with the board sword that is a Plus 8 - made in England too and these days probably more hand-built than a Morgan…
