Hi Folks, Can anyone tell me what rear (brakes) wheel cylinders are used on a 2011 (so post 93 rear brake set up) Plus 4. This is a 2 seater car. The shoes have the number 2510417 printed on them if that helps. Can anyone tell me which vehicle they come from or indeed where I can buy the wheel cylinders from? I would like to attach a photo but the the file size is always too large. Cheers, Giles

these are the one's you want - just check against your own first.
I believe they were off a Tranny van.

CW15953 (23.8mm) available via Brown& Gammon or Brakes International; or….pay through the nose at your friendly Morgan dealership.

The brake shoes, calipers and I think the wheel cylinders are from the austin ambassador. It was Caparo until they went bust so the Caparo part numbers are of no use now. There's a chap from Leamington spa who does Caparo wheel cylinders, new old stock on EBAY.

Whilst they are new and access is easy, peel back the dust rubbers and shove some brake grease around the piston edges (I use Ceratec by Mintex) the rear cyls on Mogs often seize and if you pre-treat this will extend their life considerably
