I drive regularly in central London in my 2003 plus 8, parking on street and wandering around for hours. often leaving tonneau off. Frequently return to Japanese tourists taking photos, or Rastafari gathering round admiring, never any problems, ULEZ or otherwise.

My 1999 gets hit with the £12-50 per day ULEZ but I very seldom take her up there.

I believe that vehicles made before emissions testing are exempt due to not knowing what the emissions are, although I may be wrong.

Being a niche make perhaps Morgans are not on the database criteria? YET!
When inputting the VRN my Mog comes back as Red and UK registered. No other significant details. I then confirm this and it shows ULEZ ok. I suspect the TFL database doesn’t have emissions data for the car despite it having a Rover V8 used for many mainstream cars. Does the TFL database link to the V5 details showing emissions or rely on manual input by someone? I would have thought auto link to harvest data but then, who wrote the software? Public body software often seems to fall short of a decent competence.
Just a thought.....using just the VRN without engine details seems to possibly be a gap in the credibility of the decision making process. I am not going to complain!

They do make mistakes, it is worth phoning them if you are unsure. I had a Euro 6 compliant vehicle that got fined a call sorted it.
