Has anyone replaced their pads with something that gives a bit more bite? The standard ones are awful.

I found with mine they got consideredraby better with use, I think they are quite a hard pad and need to be warmed up to be effective.

Demon Tweeks in Wrexham would probably be able to advise on a alternative pad.

I had better start giving it some beans then! Does anyone know what the pads come out of or are they exclusive to the morgan?

Till the move to Brembo I understood from Dan at KH about a year ago that they are specific to Morgan as he has looked for better pads without success.

I was speaking to Lichfield who apparently did some development work on a Plus Six and they recommended Pagid RS29 pads. They are used in endurance racing and sprinting. They come up to operating temp quickly hence they can be used in sprinting. Once I get a photo of my brake calliper, I am ordering a set.

Mmm…So if Lichfield did development work, why did Morgan not use their recommended pads…or did they??
Not sure that is an endorsement for road work though. Braking to a halt in the shortest distance when sprinting from say 100 mph may well warm them up quickly, but just slowing down from Say 60 or 70, which is what road driving might call for, may not heat up sufficiently. These pads are not cheap so might be better to try a car with them fitted first, if possible.

I assume Morgan went for the 2023 brake system redesign instead.
Agreed pads not cheap but willing to taking a chance. I am getting the Lichfield remap in July, so may do the pads at the same time.
Will report back once done.
Cheers
