Wow, these are the one's built around the buy back Bristol powertrains I think if I remember correctly. Well spotted. It would be interesting to know what they thought it was worth. There were two or three bidders who thought it was worth €100,000 over list - a 40% gain in a year. As Peter says, it's essentially a Plus 8 - though as one of the Bristol Aero S5 chassis it'll also have anti roll bars. With some body & interior tweeks, a hardtop, styling. & did I read that Litchfield breathed on the ecu? A report has it at 375 - a smidge up on standard. IIRC the side exhausts offer similar power, with a whisker less weight vs the tailpipes. Maybe the output of the 9 cars varies by market, to meet emission regs? Anyway, it does rather make a regular Plus 8 look like a bargain! It's not as if Morgan made more than a handful of them :-) Will

Compared to a normal aero plus 8 , n my opinion it's not worth the premium.

Probably depends on whether the owner intends to drive it or sit on it.

Still a very silly price....for a car that is essentially a Morgan Plus 8.
Still think your price for Tarka is not a teeeeny bit low Peter? Someone thinks they can manipulate the market ? A bit hard. A bit fast. I would be asking for a cast iron five year warranty at that price.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The yellow one was at Perth for a long time and not selling and it had dark brown interior then, it reappeared a year later at Oakmere where it acquired a black interior and it sat for at least 18 months so it will be interesting to see the next step for them at auction. Here it was at Perth quite a while back.. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2021/08/13/yl.jpg) And another Speedster hits the market. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/04/04/ss.jpeg) I have a strange feeling that the age of the leary drivers is over and the manbags are in the ascendency.

I've talked to quite a number of people involved with Morgan sales, in an attempt to set a price for Tarka. My conclusion is that the car could fetch anywhere between £50,000 and £100,000, there is no logic to used Aero based car prices at the moment.

Wow, no wonder there is no waiting list unless you're trying to sell one.....
