The fuses and relays have moved about over the years.

Earlier cars seem to have the relays under the dash. On my 2005 they are in a block directly above the steering column, so start by looking under the dash.

Someone will be along soon with a similar aged Morgan who should know.

On my 1999 Plus 8 there are two relays on the horizontal part of the bulkhead ahead of the driver under the bonnet one of which is the fuel pump relay and the other the cooling fan relay.

On my 2001 +8 there is only one relay under the bonnet which is for the radiator fan. I was said that the electric fuel pump is directly driven by the GEMS ECU.
The only failure I ever had was a bad contact at the fuel pump lugs. They were completely charred, blackened by the arcing that occurs at that point due to the high amperage.
A simple energetic cleaning with sandpaper solved the problem by restoring a good contact. Better to have a look a these tiny lugs.

That sounds like a fuel starvation issue, on start the pump is priming but then not continuing to run.

If there is a fuel filter in the supply line perhaps it is partially clogged up...?

Thanks guys . The car seems to rev ok . Its been stood with half a tank of fuel for about six months .Could it just be condensation air locks and injectors in need of a clean / blast through . Is STP injector cleaner any good , A friend with an old classic car said I should try that before I start pulling things to bits .

If the fuel really is six months old then it might just be stale fuel.
