Sad to report a problem that I haven't seen on the forum.
In recent days when I've started my '21 Plus Four, the Stop sign comes up on the info screen. Engine has started all seems fine - except I can't select drive or reverse. So switch it off, count to 10 and try again. All is fine on the second attempt.
It's done this a few time now - so it looks like another trip back to the dealers.
Anyone else come up against this one? Maybe a dodgy earth or something?

Hi,
In my case the red OS gear ring and yellow triangle keep appearing on the information panel of my MY22 Plus Four on every trip cutting out any other reading.
It is happening to at least one other car here in Ireland and the dealer says he has been waiting over 6 months for a fix from the factory. There is a suggestion it might have something to do with the drive system ?
Has anyone else found a fix for this, and is there anyone technically competent in this area to speak to in the factory?
Thanks,
Nick K.

Liam 1961 and Slick Nick, I trust these problems are sorted out and don't take another 6 months.

I had worning light issues on my Plus Six, brake light coming on and on occasion going into limp mode, fault rectified after many workshop man hours was the central control unit which was replaced and no problems since.

Hi Morganeers, So it looks like a the dealers will come and pick up the car to rectify. I checked the battery cables and ground points - all ok and scratched my chin..but nothing obvious is loose, so I guess it comes down to some clever computer analysis & fault codes to identify the problem. I certainly hope it is not another long fix - plans to tour the Ardens, a few laps on Nuerburg ring and then the Black forrest in Germany are scheduled in May! I didn't get any limp mode yet - and I hope I don't!

If the issue is earth related and if the Plus Four wiring technique is the same as the Plus Six, there are earth points under the dash that can only be accessed by removal of the dash itself. Our plus Six had an intermittant no start on the button and also threw up some other weird display errors, such as the heater fan showing actuation when it had not been touched etc, once it threw up an engine management light and engine stall with no start at very low road speed. This has now all stopped since the earths were reworked, the factory knew about the earth issue on the early Plus Six cars..

Thanks Davetherave & the other Chaps. Interesting notes. The dashboard has been removed 3 times on mine. First was to replace the wiper mechanism, second to repair the crack in the lacquer because of an overtightened screw (failed attempt to fix) and third time, during last winter, to refinish the walnut veneer dashboard properly.....Then this electrical gremlin...you may be onto something! I'll mention your experience to the dealer...
