On another post I've just seen talk of a "maintenance learning day", is this actually a thing?!
I'm alright with spanners but being a new Morgan owner, a day going over what may be obvious to most of you seasoned experts would definitely be handy!
If it is something that happens then what's the best way to get involved please?
Thanks

If you can use a grease gun and tighten a nut correctly without using torque wrench you're nearly there John laugh2

On a somewhat related point.... I can't find any examples online of how easy or otherwise it should be, to remove/replace knock-off wire wheels.
In the first place, isn't the name wrong ? Surely it's the spinners that can be knocked-off, not the wheels themselves ?
Mine are kept clean and maintained, but they range from pull hard and consistently and they "slide" off, to even-with-grease they are a bit of a b*gg*r to remove/replace.
I've thoroughly cleaned the splines to remove any possible grit, applied fresh grease, and carefully checked the alignment ....so what am I doing wrong ?

Wiggle top and bottom and pull.

The nut centralises the wheel on the hub. With the nut removed, the wheel drops very slightly , so just lift the bottom & wiggle.

As above ... can't work out the logic of it but they come off much easier if wiggled top and bottom than side to side.
