IIRC he came 10th in his race, which I think was an improvement on his start position.

I think Richard came in 8 after starting 11th, and did I spot Keith Ahlers in a lovely Lola Mk1 in another race.

I think Richard came in 8 after starting 11th ... Exactly that. The full results can be found here: www.tsl-timing.com/event/231565 under Tony Gaze Trophy. He overtook the Porsche 356 on lap 3 and gained another place two laps later when a Frazer Nash dropped out.
