A friends 2010 Plus4 has just suddenly stopped. Engine will turn over, fuel pump primes but engine will not fire. Any ideas what might be wrong. I was wondering if a sensor had gone awol but I've no idea where they are on the Plus4 engine...different to my Sigma!

Try resetting the inertia switch if it has one. I know of another +4 which suddenly died and once the inertia switch had been pressed it returned to normal operation.

It is said that if the ariel wire inside the steering column cowl drops away, the key sensor won't be recognised. I believed though that the car wouldn't turn over if this was the case. But the position of the wire inside the cowl is worth checking.

Fuses - mine is 2005 so the position of the boxes may vary, but........
Fuse No7 of 8 under the bonnet is 20A "Engine"
Fuses 1,2 and 3 under the dash (block of 20) are 15A "Engine" fuses.

Woooooohooo found the reason for the car not starting. I found the other fusebox under the dash and one of these fuses was blown. Thank you DaveW for heading me in the correct direction and all others for there input.

All I have to do now is figure out why the fuse went.
