Not sure if this is of interest to others - but we recently made some simple, removable cup holders that attach by Velcro to the box weave carpet (see photos). The Librands door mounted versions are both staggering expensive and for me in the wrong position; these cost less than £6 each.

The foldable holders themselves came from eBay and we then suck a 50mm strip of Velcro on their back with contact adhesive, secured with three aluminium rivets. Seems to work quite well, but not yet tested under extreme braking!

I've used something similar screwed to the front of each door in my ARP4. They work perfectly, don't get in the way and fold away almost flat. I bought mine from Car Builder Solutions.

Have on my PlusFour the side pockets supplied from the factory. Was not quite cheap and also not really useful because actually nothing except a few papers nothing fits in.
I bought a net for 10 euros on Amazon and attached it to the side pockets with the existing screws. This can now be used as a cup holder.

Hi. This looks like the nets I've seen on Amazon with velcro on the sides to attach to the carpet. Do you know if the velcro works on the carpet? (I'm loathe to screw into the transmission tunnel.) Also, what size net did you get and are you satisfied with the size? Thanks!

Hi Scottsi,

I don't think a net would stay in place on the carpet with just Velcro.
I attached the net with the screws that were already there on the optional side pockets.
The size was about 30x20 cm. That's my estimate, as I don't have access to the PlusFour at the moment.
