[quote=CRL]Had mine back yesterday after a repair. Told this is version 3 ? & latest version of the rad.
service girl told me they have two customers with early cxs', on this latest radiator, who do big mileages & no problems so far.

'new' radiator leaking already .. less than 300 miles covered since the new rad. fiited. car was booked in for a miss fire/engine management light showing up for one second with loss of power. - seen someone has had this with a plus six
on here. Brakes/radiators/miss fire! ....if this was from any other manufacturer, then they would have had the thing back. not impressed & i'm new to the marque.

Hello everyone,

I am joining the topic from Luxembourg after having been a silent reader of the forum for over a year now.
I own a MY22 since last spring and have had 2 radiator replacement since, the second one being the one with the swhirlpot addition.

Unfortunately, this week, after the winter break and having driven the car for less than 500 km since the last replacement, the leaking started again, heavier than ever before.

Does anyone else have this problem reappearing? Is there a definitive solution to this issue, even an aftermarket one?
I am starting to get a little desperate here and wondering if I should try to give the car back, even though I love driving it.

The fourth radiator and the swirpot have been changed in august on my 2020 car , i have driven 4000 km since and not leak yet. It is sad to knew it will happen again .

Out of interest, is this radiator issue confined to Plus Four only or has it reared it's head on the Six?

Mine is being trailered to the dealer this week for a radiator replacement. One is definitely not amused!

I was told it is more of a Plus Four issue but Plus Six can suffer it as well.

After a second dealer visit, leak traced to a loose clamp around a hose. hopefully sorted & no more coolant loss. Re the miss fire, told they have a software update but not with the dealer yet (as of last week) ..another visit then. In love with the car again tho', 13 months of ownership today & 150 miles shy of 10000 miles driven.

I think is important to say here that not all CXs have had issues. My 2019 launch edition P6 has had none of the issues with Brakes or rad as discussed here. I don't want to tempt fate, but I think a bit of balance wouldn't go amiss at this point?

Like Barry we have a launch edition P6, however unlike Barry we have had both the brake master cylinder and the radiator fail. But we have just returned from a 4000 km tour and I must say that the brakes are now great (there were moments when I forgot and pushed on the brake pedal such that we came to an abrupt stop!). And no more radiator problems.

When one looks at the location of the radiator and swirl tank connections then it is always possible for problems when servicing - just another problem of being in the motor trade!

So in the case of our Plus Six just a great car made BETTER!
