https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/tk95riv4waoy0gf9nsz9n/h?dl=0&rlkey=ugs2mxuau6302ptb2vwa6z6iqCan anyone help please. I am trying to source a pair of Ford Engine Mount brackets (not the rubber mounting) as fitted to the Kent engine 4/4 from 1971 to 1977 (or beyond). These brackets are stamped with Part no: 71HF-6B092-AA and 71HF-6B094-AA (not a matched pair). The photos should help. These are to help with the restoration of a much loved 4/4. Thank you, Mike Pullen.

Sadly not, I have looked at those. Also looked at the Burton FP294 (online only), they look to be too short to replace the original Ford product, but we are checking them out. Thanks for the suggestion.

If it helps narrow the search down, the original items were Ford Cortina Mk3 parts.

Thanks Arwyn. It seems that they might also have been used on the Mk1 Capri. We will keep searching.

Mike, is the 711M block different to the previous 2737E block? or rather are the mountings different?

Hi; yes they can be. The mounting holes in the block are the same; but the steel bracket that attaches to the block can vary in design. They could also have been modified through the car's life. Your '69 4/4 will likely have a rectangular rubber mounting with the steel bracket that attaches to the block bonded to the rubber. The later design that I am trying to source has a Ford designed steel bracket (typically from a Cortina Mk 3) which then needs a rubber donut with a threaded stud on each side. This then sits on a chassis mounted bracket bespoke to Morgan. See photo link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oxb9ew8v4d89sw8/711M%20Engine%20Mount%20Bracket.JPG?dl=0

This parts request is now closed. We have successfully sourced the required Ford brackets; thanks to all who have commented.

Glad you found what you needed. BTW, they are the same as my '73 4/4
