Leave the storm cover on the car until you’re ready to drive off again. If it’s still wet, it has to go into a bag in the car anyway, and put it back on the car when next parked up.

+1

Our storm cover lives on top of the foot locker in the passenger foot-well - held in place by Velcro straps. That way, if it is damp, nothing else gets damp (apart from Mrs F’s feet. It dries out fully on the next night or when we get home depending on the weather.

Another vote for hotel showers.
I have a wrap of red & green electrical tape where the elastic meets the storm cover so I know which way it goes on. Obvs red port, green starboard.

Indeed I have. Driven my (new to me) plus 4 60 miles without a hitch. A very pleasant bacon bap at Rhug mid way round and spotted a very nice blue Morgan in the car park.

I must say the Plus 4 is a revelation in comfort and finesse compared to the brutality of the Plus 8.

2012 Plus 4 in Sport Green. Much comfier than the Plus 8!

Yes!
Nice sunshine and 12 degrees today so I made a detour to the event at Morgan Park.
Lots of nice cars, nice snacks , juice and coffee ;-)

First time I have seen more than 3 Morgan at once....

I’ve hung ours in the hotel shower as it was far too wet to put in the car

Hotel shower for us too. But, as a back up, I always take a black bin bag and can then pop the wet cover into that, and squeeze it into the side screen holder on the back rack. If you only have a plain rack, it can still sit under the luggage on the back.
