Hi, Librands or Melvyn Rutter should be able to sort you out, but you could try a local manufacturer of stainless one's most will knock one up for you at a lot better price if you provide the pattern or take the car to them.

This was just my plan after the exhaust fell off my plus 4. They needed the car to fabricate a new one, the old one as a pattern wouldn’t cut it. Didn’t fancy a 30 mile trip with no silencer so Rutters came to the rescue.

P D Gough Co Ltd in Nottingham supplied a complete stainless system for my Plus 8. They had a huge store of patterns and were able to produce what I wanted off the shelf and at a significantly better price than the normal suppliers!

More than 20 years ago I bought the stainless steel exhaust system for my Plus 4 from Melvyn Rutter. It fit perfectly and has held up well.

I bought a twin ss system for my Plus 8 from the same source in 1998. Sadly, Melvyn sent me the wrong sized polished
tail pipe for one side. I paid for the return cost shipping back from Canada and he sent another. A year later, the
fitting section (left side) used to secure that silencer at its rear sheared. This time, I had it repaired in my tiny Canadian
village and had gussets added to those sections of the silencers (I had become leery) but held them as spares. I moved
to a higher quality UK Morgan supplier. Perhaps things have changed. There are many grades of ss and ss welding.

All that being said Melvyn is a very charming guy with fast shipping.

I have not had a Morgan community exhaust supplier component fail me since, with three Plus 8s, much mileage and
25 years save an original MMC mild steel downpipe rusting out. We were in the southern US at the time and we found
Harley bikers to repair it just off the road. Harley bikers respect anyone with a vehicle, 4, 3 or two wheels that has more
chrome than they do.

Guten Tag player,
personally I prefer custom exhausts.
I know a very good craftsman, BFR EXHAUST, located near the city of Mons in Belgium
if you are not too far in germany, this can be a solution.

But, Nestor, assuming the metal grade is appropriate, the welds are great and the installation is correct, one can find
very high artisan talent anywhere, often by surprise..much like great artists. And certainly custom exhaust makers
are the ultimate. My only concern is that once one leaves the community fold, there is risk if a part needs to be
replicated quickly.

For example, here is a bit of the work of a German craftsman, now adorning the Plus 8 of the wonderful André
Koopmann, long one of my very favorites on the world's Morgan trade side. It takes the prize of the best Morgan
system I have ever seen. I have seen few others comparable and nothing made in quantity.
