HI hello there , looking for new or refurbished toothed ratchet quadrant for the fly off handbrake on my 1985 4/4 . The MOT bloke said the handbrake was to far gone this time , he is right , the teeth are to far gone to file back. So if any body in the South West of the UK can help out in any way that would be great.
Cheers in anticipation, Paz.

I got mine from Rutters, it is OK but I did have a slight problem in that the countersink for the retaining screw was too deep so the screw bottomed in the blind hole. I also bought a new pawl but that had to go back as it had been incorrectly machined.
Here's the link for the later quadrant, more expensive than suggested by Arwyn.

HI hello Arwyn , thanks for the tip off . One will be winging it's way here at the earliest postoffice opening time on Tuesday . About £ 20 , give or take . On seeing Terrys address i remembered i had been given it a good while ago . The trouble was that i wrote it in pencil and in hand writing that would have made a doctor envious . Other than parts of Terrys name the rest made no sense to me. So cheers for that, regards Paz.

Hello Grumpy , thank you for the information , with regards to the handbrake component . One will be on it's way here , as soon as Terry Foxen ( G E E in Stroud ) can get it across the post office counter on Tuesday , and for about £ 20 inc p & p . Regards Paz.
