I received a nice surprise from Bath & North Somerset Council the other day, A PCN for not paying the charge after driving through Bath. On that evening I checked the website to see if I had to pay as I was unsure as to what vehicles it applied to. Private cars are exempt and do not have to pay it told me although there could be a problem with the details on my V5 document. I thought I'd better pay just in case but it wouldn't let me. Neither the council or the DVLA could tell me what details were missing or wrong on the V5 so i'm a bit stuck as to what to notify the DVLA of if I were to send in the V5 with updated information. Bath Council have cancelled the PCN after I challenged the PCN and sent then a few pictures of my car and the original Morgan Build Ticket. Why the couldn't have seen it was a car from the original PCN I don't know as it clearly showed me and the first Mrs. N enjoying our drive through the city. Would anyone be able to post a picture of their V5 with address/reg/engine/chassis Nos redacted? That way I can fill in any gaps re emissions/sound levels Co2. The V5 hasn't been updated since it left the factory in 1998! Plus 4 Rover T16.

I can't help with the details. I am off to Belgium in the +8 on Saturday with a few other car club friends we all have cars over 30 years old. Mk2 Jags, E Type, DB7.... . The LEZ's in Brussels and Ghent have caused us problems as we stay in city centre hotels. Brussels we have managed free exemptions. Apply online and it comes back by post. Ghent we have to pay €35 a day and you are only allowed 8 passes per year.
