Standard fit on the Aero 8 see Speedster image..

The reason I started this thread was because I knew this car had been subject to a heavy collision as did other members and it was not declared on the first few attempts to sell it at the 60k area, I viewed this as unfair and didn't want any of our members to purchase unwittingly.

£40,000 area would be realistic to my mind as it will always carry the mentioned record and why pay a bit less when you can have an unblemished car - at this level you don't need to buy a previously damaged one. The fact the newer generation cars have an ally tub will always raise doubts after an accident surely people will be willing to pencil a report without too much attention to detail if asked.. Not being too cynical but I have seen a few sunrises and sunsets wink

The S4 made it to £51,000 - £1000 shy of the lower estimate, so not sold yet

I'm pretty sure this sold at the auction even though no result is showing (I was one of the underbidders). Really nice car but my concerns was the low mileage and the effect on various seals having had a low mileage +4 Supersport which and braker master cylinder and clutch issues to sort (it appears Crazy Horse have done some work since the auction so these potential issues could have been addressed. Well worth a look and I'm sure you could get a MPH speedo. I would be re-looking at this Aero if I wasn't actually tryinf to sell my Aero's for my house build which is underway.

Just noticed the S4 sold for £56,160 ...absolute bargain at that money as long as no residual hang ups on the low mileage. Whoever has bought it enjoy many miles.

My 2014 S4 Based Plus 8 went for a similar figure.

I'll put this here in our "For Sale" thread

https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2023-07-22/cars/ref-116-2019-morgan-aero-8-series-5-dg/

2019 - so one of the last?

Delivery mileage only
So, bought to look at?

I'm not sure if it's a good thing to have had the car sitting for four years?

https://www.carandclassic.com/make-an-offer/2012-morgan-plus-8-nV5aMg the white Aero +8 is showing as priced at £53,000, with the owner open to offers.
(& the Cat D status is clearly declared)

Were I in the market, would an offer of around £50k look reasonable?

That looks like a very nice car for £50k.
Restored in 2014/2015 so plenty of time to iron out any creases... seems like a bargain.
