Have they kept to your original quote of $122K or have there been any hidden extras?
I got the final bill today. He said don't pay it until the engineer has signed off the car and MOT are happy, but the idea was for me to be able to give all the bills to the insurance company to get the price increased from the $10,000AUD. Maybe it needs some money owing to be covered by his workshops insurance. but happy to wait to do the payment.
The only extras are the roll bar for $1400, the centre console done in leather rather than carpet for $1400 as it is a lot more work and $600 to have the rocker cover painted to match the car rather than leaving it black plastic. I also got a new Retrosound radio fitted so $126K all up including the cost of the radio. I think the workshop has been very fair.
