That is silly money at that price - i would take it for the Unimog truck alone. A few off-gridders and surfers would bite?

I remember pulling one of those out of a soggy swede field in Denmark with a good old Bedford RL. A lot of kit there it would be a great shame to strip it all out....

It’s a “1964 Daimler Benz Unimog 404s Teleprinter Truck” for £16,000….

That's nice! Wonder if the Vintage and Military Amateur Radio Society have picked up on it.
Long way out of my budget (and space availability smile ). Thanks for posting the photos and further information gents!

Awesome vehicles. I remember watching a TV series where off road racing was the subject. Unimogs always did well. Can’t remember the TV series name though. It was a version of the bike series. Matchless, Huskvarna bikes and Vic Eastwood a top rider.
When in Iceland just about 7/8 years ago I saw a “modified” Unimog. Modified in the way the Icelanders did their 4x4’s. Nutcase off-road driving.
As for the radio gear on the Unimog, took me back to school days when in our science society after school sessions we became RSGB members to build/play with radios.
£16k for that Unimog with all that gear is a snip.
If only I hadn’t just done a deal on a new Mog!
Convert the Unimog to a liveable one and tow the Plus8 on trips. Replace the gun with my fishing rods though.

I have a pictire of it in my head but maybe my young brain was mistaken?? .... guessing '50s some time
