I had a test drive in a MY23 Plus Four car recently. Overall I was impressed with it. 5’10 and the only thing that stuck out was the rear view mirror position/view. OK in dip mode but out of line in non-dip. Mind you I didn’t play with it, just left it as it was. I got the feeling of a bit less wind in the hair at normal speeds. Overall feel was very good, comfort good and ride quality a big improvement over the trad. I liked the auto better than manual and did try the paddles to override to see the effect but not really needed. Stayed away from Sport and Sport+ as standard was impressive with great kick down response.
Oh dear!
Reduced the children’s inheritance, car in the process of buying. A year earlier than planned. Happy with the deal so goodbye Plus8.
Mrs sospan was very positive and encouraging.

I see the factory has introduced a new incentive…

For the remainder of the summer, until 30th September, a range of options will be available at zero cost on new Morgan Plus orders. This includes any solid or metallic paint colour, any interior trim or carpet option as well as all seat piping and stitching options.

I expect for some that is a significant saving.. I expect they are needing to fill those build slots and a lower margin on a car is better than not selling one at all..

When speaking to a dealer the offer is for colour upgrades only. It excludes leather type and quilting pattern upgrade. It includes paint type (solid, metallic, pearl)I think it also excludes carpet upgrade to box weave too. Colour is not restricted to the MMC so you can specify any colour you like.
It is aimed at stimulating sales to compensate for expected drop off over the colder months.

I think your dealer misinformed you Sospan. From the MMC website it states any leather, carpets, piping and stitching. The below is in there T&Cs

Bring The Colour - MMC Free Option Promotion

Offer runs between 26 June 2023 and 30 September 2023 and will only apply to new Plus Four and Plus Six models that are ordered and specification fixed between the selected dates. Only applicable to orders from UK, Europe or Japan. Options include: Any solid or metallic colour, all two tone interiors, any leather from Pebble or Soft Grain range, standard or box weave carpet in any colour, and any colour of seat piping or stitching. Standard ordering terms and conditions apply.

Did I read a post where you said you are about to order a new MOG?

It's a shambles. I went to the MMC web site to see what a configured Plus Four would cost., given the discussions of free paint etc above. Pressed the Configure button. Got presented with a form to fill in my details and select a dealer (no sign of a configurator). So I filled it in with a message saying I wanted a configurator not a dealer and if they did not have a configurator then they should ot have a Configurator button. Pressed Next. And the web site simply presented me with an empty form to enter my details and contact a dealer .....

Clearly no-one tests the web site or holds the web site developers to account. (This is not the only issues I have noticed over the last year or two).

So if they can't build a web site, I really wonder if they can still build cars properly.

(Mind you the last time I ordered a modern new car, that was a bit of shambles too....)

Or maybe I'm just getting old.....

Just tried it and the Configurator works for both Plus Four and Plus SIx.

Little disturbed that they can't spell commission properly?

Thanks. I wonder what I'm doing wrong...

Ah, if I go to https://morgan-motor.com/plus/plus-four/. and scroll down and find 'Start Configurator' then that does work. But not the 'Configurator' button on another page (one I can't be bothered to find again I'm afraid).

I just want a web site that does simple things, simply.

I don't want one full of marketing pizzaz and dynamic sliding image boxes whizzing left right and centre. But maybe others do.....

Oops, configured plus four came out at about 95k so the paint reduction would not really help that much.

But I guess that means I'm not in the modern Morgan customer demographic.
