I have been trying to read my plus 8 as the airbag light came on a few weeks ago .
I have managed to read the ECU as an X5 but can’t read the airbag side .
Anyone know what car the airbag system is from .
I have quite a reasonable Autel reader.

Hi Peter, the airbag system is by Continental, one of the many divisions of Continental Tyres. The contact is there a David H, Hardwick. Hardman ?????? I can't for the life of me remember his surname 😡'hope you get sorted...

When the airbag light lit up on our Disco 3, it was a simple loose connection at the control unit. In the L-R case, the box was under the seat and the dealer had moved the seat to clean the car dislodging a connector. Worth looking round the car for something equally simple perhaps?

Well good news on the airbag .
The car is in with Ledgerwood for service ,airbag and washer bottle problem..
Air bag needs an old style Morgan reader to see the problem .
It came up as low voltage detected ,strange as we were driving at the time .
Washer bottle fixed without removing the wig ,result .
So all faults cleared for now .
The nasty and rusty rear coil over cost of replacement £400 plus VAT. So I have opted to go SSL all round with the Anti roll bar .
Hope to get the car back next week .
