It is IVA'd and taxed as a car despite its light weight. But how does it sidestep car regs, things like ‘pedestrian collision’ regs with a V twin on the front or it having cycle wings on the rear or exposed exhausts down the sides?

Those items don’t seem to be mentioned in the assessment document…. https://assets.publishing.service.g...inspection-manual-passenger-vehicles.pdf- Section 16 covers”Exterior Projections”.

I’ve just read Autocars write up on the Pendleton t24 and it says that it falls into a less stringent Individual Vehicle Approval build rules so I’m guessing that’s only allowed up to them building a very small number a year or each one registered as being unique. Don’t know how it works

Tim I have never seen a Pembleton in the nature, perhaps they don´t get a registration in Germany? But I can underfstand that you love it! Enjoy your new car!
