Like this?

Using these modified overrider mounts as fabricated by Cain of Wolf Performance who also supplied valance itself. The tubes bolt to OE chopped down mounts.

A further improvement was this bracing bar between mounts which firms up the flimsy OE mounting. Also supplied by Cain.

No not in black oops

To be honest to order parts from GB became expensive an complicated as any import from non-EU countries.
Since Brexit the customs duties and taxes raisd to 25%. Yes also 25% for the shipping costs!

Actually I am waitingt for some motorbike brake disks I ordered from my supplier in Australia.

The parts "rest" at the German custom since 4 weeks.

Maybe customs is missing something in the documents or they check whether the parts are allowed to be imported at all or...

The last few times there were no problems importing brake discs.

Additionally, the problem is that there is no possibility to ask customs directly, as everything goes through the postal service.

Importing can therefore be very unpleasant...

If something does not fit and has to be returned, the transport costs are high.

In addition, my knowledge of English - even with the help of translation programmes - is rather limited to order exactly the right parts.

I would love to - but there are currently many factors that prevent me from doing so.

Roger

Nice solution as ever!
Since I often need quick solutions (and as you know I also like to work with plastic and a heat gun) I made my replacement from smooth, non-structured ABS.
No blink but it fits fantastic to my black venyl seats grin2

Your are right: Your mod really tidies the front!
Unfortunately, I don't have enough time for such sophisticated improvements at the moment.

Annual oil and filter change went well yesterday afternoon. Greasing kingpins today. Then have clutch return spring to look at. It appeared to break yesterday with a loose feeling pedal although perfectly driveable. Now have a spare after discovering brake and clutch springs are mirror images of each other.

I've been wanting to replace my broken clutch pedal spring for three years, but I've honestly got so used to the clutch without it that I'm not doing it yet. You just can't let your foot rest on the pedal.

A few weeks ago, I nearly set fire to the Morgan.

After a short drive home, on our drive, the engine stalled. When I tried to start again, I couldn't hear the fuel pump so I checked the contacts on the pump (some years ago one of them was broken) and I then tried to switch the pump relay under the hood. When I took the relay out, the casing came loose and caused a short circuit. Luckily the wire, connecting the + between the relays, burned out.
After I replaced the wire and the relay, everything was all right.
At first it was pritty scary though. scared

Bled and flushed the clutch hydraulics. What came out looked more like India ink than brake fluid. The brakes are next...

Actually got around to fitting the Moss Hazard Warning Light Kit I've been meaning to install for a while. Then found the horn wasn't working! As I hadn't needed to touch that part of the wiring so I was puzzled. Eventually located the problem to the fuse, the brass holder was a bit corroded where the fuse sits. A gentle clean with a precision file solved the problem. Fault finding was interesting, as there was no noticeable volt drop across the fuse, but that was with no current draw. The corrosion was just sufficient to drop the voltage enough to prevent the horn from working.

Although the oil change went well I discovered whilst greasing front suspension that the nearside top shock mount has now broken matching perfectly the other side found several months ago, and as before being seemingly a stress induced break over a period of time and across the centre hole of bracket that accomodates bolt for upper wing fixing. Ho hum well at least some symmetry here occuring within about 3000 miles of each other out of total 26,000 miles, and as before no other damage frown

It was suggested at the time that my Spax gas assist shocks (part of SSL RS kit) were either adjusted too tight or rubber mounts were. I don't really buy either of these suggestions though. The top ones have metal bushes within that you tighten against so cannot overtighten rubber bushes and the lower eye fitting with conical rubbers didn't look excessively squashed. I understand this is a rare issue but for the moment putting it down to a bad batch since this poor cantilever design should have adequate reserves of shear strength. Nevertheless I have loosened slightly the lower fittings and backed off the dampers one click each.

Just awaiting new bracket from BHM then fingers crossed.
