Are the fuel lines in a Duratec Plus 4 resistant to ethanol? I soon discovered that the rubber tubes for the windscreen washer fluid was not, and now I am concerned because the standard gasoline has become E10.

Cars built from 2002 onwards should be OK with E10.

There was a discussion on here some time ago when E10 was introduced. I thought that things like the tank filler pipe may not be guaranteed to be resistant and if I recall, there wasn’t any real definitive advice from MMC. I will need to look it up again.

That is correct Doug. The bits that are Mog specifiic might be at risk, but so far I haven't heard of issues

Hararld, your Ford engine is ok, but safest to consider anything flexible fitted by MMC may not be compliant unless the actual hose is printed DIN 73379. SAE J30R9
