These are a few pics of our trip to Lochcarron and Skye. The 1st 3 are from a round trip north of Lochcarron taking in a bit of the NC500, the others are from a trip over Balach na Ba to Applecross and then round the peninsula back.

No decent pics from Skye to share, we didn't get out much cos of the weather and we came down with something we are still trying to shake off 4 weeks later (now suspect Covid).

Here is a link to a 4 min Vid of the top of Balach na Ba, meeting a CX ( I think) on its way down and being surrounded by a mob of Aston's at the top. Obviously it works for me but can't post on TM-Img and no idea if you will be able to access. Apologies for the swearing! hit one of the numerous pot holes.

It remembers me that I have to plan (again) a trip trip through the Norwegian mountains.

A Norway road trip is also on my list.

The pictures from your trip and the video look like some landscapes in Norway!
You only have to add some "fjords" and tunnels with road junctions in the tunnel and perhaps roads until 2000m a.s.l.

The plus for trips in Norwas is, that you can rent small cabins all over the place to stay overnight.

Nice Video - I love the sound of your engine - I have a 2006 Plus 4 with the 2.0 Duratec. Don't think it sounds like yours though! Have you done anything to the engine / Exhaust to make it sound that way?
