I hope some people are enjoying their summer, we go out for spin full of excitement and often have to pull in to do the roof after getting a soaking. If you look at the forecast you would never go out, what's everyone else doing not seen many Mogs out and about this summer in Pembrokeshire. We vowed to use the six a bit more than our previous Mog 's but parking is a bit of an issue which we sort of glossed over. Came back to the car the other day with a three year old sitting on a running board, nice car said the father as he pulled the toddler off. Hey ho another day another shower.......Em

I leave my hood down most of the time, but it is garaged. Often I fit the tonneau instead. A good compromise. This is not a Morgan option I believe, but made to measure by my dealership, Williams Automobiles.

I put the hood up in the garage to keep it in shape. Today’s short run was roof down but roof up in the carpark in Laugharne. Still not been out in rain to test the leaks. Or have MMC redeployed the man who puts the leaks in the cars? umbrella
Em, I remember the running board incident with your Aero in Haverfordwest airfield!

I have never heard of a tonneau on a CX. Do you have a picture ... that would interest me very much.

Greatings from Kunshan/China with 42 degrees 😇

I moved from a Plus 8 to a Boxster S because I wanted a lightweight performance Roadster with some features not available from Morgan.

1. A powered hood that is 100% waterproof when hood up.
2. A car that when driven on a wet road doesn't spray water on the inside of the screen.
3 A car that has a sophisticated traction control and stability system
4. A car that has a main dealer within 1 hours drive
5. A car with a 0-60 time of less than 4.5 seconds, yet manages 40mpg on a long run
6. A car with luggage space secure inside the boot of the car.

Morgan has to up its game......

Get over yourself Peter, Boxter this Boxter that. The thing is deep down your not happy because no one leaves you out of junctions anymore and the last person you tried to lip read did say cockster. If you want all of the above there's no hope, Morgan's rule.....Ha Em

I have some sympathy for Peter.
To change Belle would be I guess £40K, the cash I have the inclinaton I don't.

For that I get a very competent fast modern car so for me:-
1. I would miss the feedback of the overworked chassis & suspension.
2. I miss the luggage / junk space that Belle & the Boxster has
3. I would expect for that a waterproof car not the joyous fun of being dripped on hood up.

I guess I am a Luddite but the CX doesn't do it for me & for that money I'd rather keep Belle & get a used Cayman to replace the Polo in winter.
