This one has popped up on PistonHeads: https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/15472545
Looks interesting if you can see past the rather personal trim. Shame the sellers' description is wrong in so many details. No photos of the engine bay -- maybe they couldn't figure out how to open the bonnet ?

That Roadster belonged to Peter (MR11MOG) on TM. He had an ARPlus4 from new very briefly. He found it so disappointing he returned it and had that Roadster built as an ARP4 look alike. The spare wheel hole cover has airbrushed art of, I think, knights in armour.

I remember this car being featured quite a bit on here a few years ago
It’s a cracking looking Morgan
Seems a good price as well for a lot of nice features

A very reasonable price for such a low mileage unique factory custom of 3.7 Roadster. Always loved the look of Peter's (MR11MOG) car with so many ARP4 - esque additions.

Peter will no doubt be interested that it has finally surfaced, we were only chatting about it recently as the original dealer (non franchised) who took it in subsequently went pop, so it's perhaps been languishing in the receivers lock-up

Blimey. So much history and events. Today I collected my 3.0 Roadster after having the kingpins/bushes replaced. Was it worth it ? Maybe. The ARP-esque "tribute" actually appeals to me. I would simply swap the steering wheel for a MotoLita that doesn't look like it mated with the leather tooling on some cowboy boots, and replace the black headlight rims for some chrome/blingy ones.

Probably why it’s up for such a good price

That must have cost Peter close to £80K with all that work and detail

It’s a fabulous Mog, hope it gets snapped up by a proper Morganeer

If anyone on TM buys it and wants rid of the n/s bonnet with that (ugly) ARP4 style scoop thingy I would be happy to offer my plain red one as a straight swap innocent

My current air inlet mods would work really well with such wink

Richard, you're handy on the tools, disc cutter, couple of empty coke cans and a pop riveter...sorted laugh2
