RichardV8 made a good suggestion, photo the position of the connection so the cables return to oem location.

I use a dental tool to release small latches like this.

Thanks both.

I learned the hard way to start taking photos of the project before I start pulling things apart. Now my phone is full of them.

I hadn't thought about the dental tools. Good tip. I do have some for some smaller jobs so I may check out if one of those will work. I ordered a cheap set of tools from Amazon for $10, just to suit future needs as well.

Thanks,
Craig

For headlamp bucket try 7in Dietz headlamp bucket
I have replaced both of mine due to stress fractures around the mounting points.
Much more cost effective than oem units
Available in Black or Shiny

Excellent suggestion. This may be a quicker way to source some replacements than getting them directly from Morgan. I am assuming that they will fit any standard 7in lamp, so they should fit the Blackout LED lamps I've added to mine. Also interesting to hear that I am not the only one who has had cracks. I was finally able to get off my headlight bucket and it is cracked on both sides wrapping around the back, almost 80% of the circumfrance of the base. It would not have not made it much longer.
