Nothing a good welder can’t fix 👍
Possibly cold bent and fatigue has eventually finished it off.
Or alternatively, has a very tight rubber tube been used with the bolt in order to stiffen up the door movement?

When you bent a rolled sheet, it must be bent perpendicular to the roll direction.

Now I see it. Initially I couldn't avert my gaze from the rusty door hinge bolts! Maybe I am missing the point and they are coordinated to the carpets?

Tried to replace those bolts some years ago. They just turn in the frame. Didn’t want to dismantle/unstick the car to get at the nuts(if their are nuts). Decided to live with them until I have to replace the hinges. Note tried ACF 50 on them but it couldn’t cope with the sea side air.

Well what a lovely surprise. Librands replaced the offending part Free of Charge.
The Morgan community are really special. Who would have thought a manufacturer would stand by their product after a failure at 12 years of age. I must say I did not ask for this. I got in touch to see if they would sell me just one rather than a pair.
