Em, I was wondering about spots on the new car. The headlights are miles better than the Plus8 and I doubt I’d ever use them. I agree with expensive ornaments! No badge bar either. I am tempted but not in any hurry. I was planning to de-clutter the Plus8 front anyway. There may be a couple of badges for sale before Christmas when I do a clear out.

We clocked 3k miles so far Phil but not been out at night yet,the lights look quite bright in the garage. Sold my 40 year old oscars at a car show the guy was delirious I think I sold them too cheap, probably twice what I paid for them the shells must have been colour coded about six times plus the straightened out jubilee clip riveted on the top for adjustment. Real patina......Em

Fitted in 1k+ miles to get the first service/check before Windermere and Scotland from tomorrow. Some decent miles will be done! Enjoyed similar last year but only up to Loch Lomond as a touring base. Further north this year.
The Plus8 had front fogs but never used. I was thinking of replacing them with spots but didn’t get round to it as the front was quite cluttered with badges/fogs/overriders.

Hell of a thread drift this. Have a good trip see what you think about turbulance in the cabin area when your marching on a bit. The plus six is a real mileage muncher though. Em
