That'll be for dynamo cars where the electrons are so sluggish they pool in low spots ... the board will have a little pump on it to keep them moving along!

Well this dud one still has 'TOP' but is electronic Likely because the restoration pedants like to see something looking original but with modern innards, so the old style case is used. I vaguely recall conversion kits being available.

I don't disagree. The problem is that it still appears on eBay, and there is the option to pay by credit card or PayPal.
