So, I already had Librand bases on back order and they have finally arrived. I ordered them last year I think or maybe early this year. Anyway got around to fitting them yesterday and couldn't get over the difference in quality. The Librands are far superior - btw I'm not sponsored or paid or in any way anything to do with Librand. Hopefully below I've attached a picture. To be fair, my offside is fine, it's the near side that is appaling. I feel (more) expenditure coming on

Anyone got a working passenger OEM one they no longer want? The base on my won’t lock into position any more and can’t justify the cost of a New stainless one

I've got my two Librands bases delivered recently too, still awaiting to fit them. As you say, the difference in quality is huge.

My Plus Four is a 2025 U.S. and has no exposed screws on the outside of the base. Seems the door panel will have to be removed to detach the base. And I'm very reluctant to let my dealer do that since they've never removed a door panel on a 2025 before. I have no idea how to go about it myself. This is my 4th Morgan. The prior ones all had solid mirror performance. My other 2 cars, my truck and 5 motorcycles all have rock solid mirrors. My new Morgan driver's side mirror is unsafe. The reflections dance so much at speed that I can't tell exactly where the nearby cars are. Or how fast they are approaching. The dancing images make me dizzy. Sometimes I resort to shielding them from sight with my hand.
