Started off damp, and this was my first time driving up Prescott Hill, clearly some work needed to get my time down.
Then after some practice the hill dried out and I did it
That's more like it, Monty romped up the hill in under one minute, not bad for my first day ever driving Prescott carying a heavy passenger, the luggage rack, and the spare wheel
Good to see Monty getting out and stretching his legs, that's a good time for a first day out in a road-car! ... be careful of hillclimbing it can be addictive ... Prescott is a great track ... definitely one I'm having withdrawal symptoms from 🙁
Well done. I have never been there but I love videos of Prescott and under one minute seems to be a great result. Monty certainly has a nice sound, much more interesting than the Porsche following your second video.
I love these Videos I found, you need to go again and do a full video of your drive up the mountain.

Were you on Hill-Control duties today Graham?

Join me onboard as we attack the hill, this was my third run, I'm getting faster here at 1 minute 2 seconds
My final run later in the day sees me going sub 60 seconds.
And that's with a 17.5 stone passenger onboard (big Dave Jefferies), the luggage rack fitted and the spare wheel still on the back too, I'm also sure with more practice I'll become more skilled and knowledgeable.
Add it all up and there's definitely plenty of scope to improve my current best time, however, for my first attempt I have to say Monty cetainly did me proud

Recommend you do the Drivers's School - that will give you the correct lines and easily shave more than a second off your times, at the same pace used in that video.

Exactly Graham, see my edited comments above, I was also carying a serious weight penalty
I think with a bit more practice, no passenger, rack and spare wheel, I can shave at least two seconds of my best time
