Hi folks
Does anyone happen to know the part number for rear brake shoes for Plus 8 (1974)? I think these would have originally been Girling.
I have had a look around on the usual internet sources but have drawn a blank.

Nigel,
I have a 1973 Girling parts book.
The reference number for Morgan rear brake shoes is 64937126LL
By coincidence, these shoes are also fitted to the next car listed alphabetically in the book, a 1961 to 1971 Morris Oxford .

The Morgan agent listing in the previous reply indicates that these shoes were used on all Morgans from 1957 to 1993.

By using this cross reference I bought a set of brake shoes for 4/4 last month for around half the price being asked iny the Morgan dealing listing.
The rear wheel cylinder 64673804 (purchased as a Bedford CA van spare), that I fitted on the 4/4 at the same time as the brake shoes, was around a quarter of the cost of buying the same item from a Morgan dealership.

you are absolutely right Jack, all Main dealer prices are extortionate, its always worth the research.
